Our Roots

The Denison Performing Arts was founded in 1979. The organization was built on a foundation of love for the arts and providing opportunities for students in the Denison community to experience and be inspired by them. DPA sponsors field trips, art supplies, both an Art and Piano competition for students in our area. We are funded through donations by community leaders and grants. We are excited by the opportunity to bring the world of art to the next generation of painters, singers, actors, dancers and musicians.
